美女自卫慰黄网站Annie Callanan, c.e.o. of Taylor & Francis, has been elected president of the Publishers Association (PA) and vowed to demonstrate the “value and opportunity that publishers provide to society”.
美女自卫慰黄网站Callanan took on the role from Peter Phillips, c.e.o. of Cambridge University Press, at the PA's virtual a.g.m. yesterday (14th May).
美女自卫慰黄网站At the same meeting, David Shelley, c.e.o. of Hachette UK, was elected as PA vice-president and treasurer while Bonnier Books UK c.e.o. Perminder Mann was confirmed as the new chair of the Consumer Publishers Council.
Callanan said: “I am honoured to take on the role of president of the Publishers Association and am looking forward to the responsibilities associated with it – especially in these challenging times. I believe that publishers of all stripes have a vital role to play in helping to enrich lives, whether it is through learning or through adventures of the imagination. My priority throughout my presidency will be to demonstrate the value and opportunity that publishers provide to society now and in the future.”
Stephen Lotinga, c.e.o. of the PA, added: “Annie’s energy, optimism and experience will be hugely valuable to us all as we navigate the challenges currently facing our industry. Annie will be a brilliant president of the Publishers Association and I look forward to continuing to work with her to ensure that UK publishing continues to thrive.”

Charlie Redmayne, c.e.o. of HarperCollins, was elected to the Publishers Association Council for a three-year term.
